Certificate III in Dental Assisting (Southbank TAFE)
Tram has been a dental assistant since 2003.
She has been working at Mt Ommaney Dental as early as 2004.
Tram has a Certificate III in Dental Assisting from Southbank TAFE.
Tram provides experienced background support behind difficult procedures, from the management of apprehensive children, to complex surgical operations under local or general anaesthetic.
Dr Paul D. Ha
Dental Surgeon
BDSc (UQ), GCClinDent (UQ).
Since the age of 18, Paul has worked in the dental industry for well over 30 years.
Education
He completed primary school education at St Joseph's College, Nudgee Junior in Indooroopilly [now called Ambrose Treacy College].
He completed secondary school education at St Joseph's College, Gregory Terrace in Spring Hill.
Paul graduated from dentistry at the University of Queensland in 1992.
To further his education, he also competed his post-graduate Certificate in Clinical Dentistry at the University of Queensland in 2001.
In 2001, Paul also worked as a clinical tutor - both teaching and assessing the final year dental students at the University of Queensland, School of Dentistry.
Paul likes to study and learn new techniques to provide the best for all his patients.
He has continuing education and post-graduate training in the fields of: nitrous oxide sedation, children's dentistry, orthodontics, implants, and oral surgery.
Work Experience
In 1993, Paul's first job was working for both Townsville General Hospital and the School Dental Service.
He later moved back to Brisbane working at South Brisbane Dental Hospital, Inala Community Health Centre, and Logan Hospital.
Paul has worked for the government Queensland Health at several locations throughout Queensland for 11 years.
Paul has also briefly worked at several private practices across Brisbane over that period.
In 2003, Paul created Mt Ommaney Dental, along 95 Dandenong Road Mt Ommaney, opposite the Mt Ommaney Police Station.
Special Interests
Paul practises almost all aspects of dentistry, including more complex procedures like children's dentistry, orthodontics, resin restorations, root canal treatment, crown and bridgework, extractions, oral surgery, dentures, implants, cosmetic dentistry, snoring and sleep apnoea, nitrous oxide sedation and general anaesthetics.
In particular, Paul specialises in "thorough detailing".
If we do something properly, then it will last longer.
Paul has a wife and two children, and he tries to balance health, family, and work...
