Implants
Implants can be used to replace missing teeth. Notice how well the gums have healed after the surgery.
Immediate Implants
Before. The patient presented with a post and crown that had fallen out. Radiographic examination showed that there was an abscess at the apex of the root.
The original infected root was removed. The abscess underwent curettage. An implant with a temporary restoration was placed immediately.
Under favourable circumstances, it may be possible to do an immediate implant. Do enquire within.
Bone Grafts Certain circumstances require bone grafting prior to, or at the time of the placement of the implant.
NB. The Dental Board of Australia at www.ahpra.gov.au surgical guidelines: All surgical procedures carry risks. Before proceeding, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified practitioner.
